High idle after after using sct preloaded tune
#22
I completely agree, i made my statement assuming the voltages were correct.
I understand what your saying if the voltage is higher than spec at the closed position it's sending a signal that the TB is open more than it is, correct?
In fact some TPS's are adjustable just for that reason so the closed position voltage can be adjust.

Correct. Whenever you install an aftermarket TB you should loosen the throttle stop till it is no longer touching, then tighten till you can just slide a piece of paper between the stop and throttle. Then tighten 1/2 turn. Aftermarket is not coated like stock so they need to be open a bit more. Then adjust TPS to .95-.98v. Then you must datalog ISC integrator. If it is not at .00 at warm idle then you need to adjust it or have your tuner adjust it. That is the only way to properly set idle.

My TPS is fine I went over it and so did my tuner, he said it has something to do with my MAF sensor and my aftermarket intake, my car is getting tuned probably by next week and he should it should fix the problem I am having.

Unless you have an aftermarket MAF and he scaled it wrong I doubt that. The only way a maf problem could cause high idle is if it was scaled wrong and then ISC is way off. If that's what it is, time to find a good tuner.

I had never had it tuned before, so not his fault, previous owner had the CAI installed so I have no clue what he had done previously to set it up, just he never set the speedo so when I tried to fix that problem was when my high idling started to occur.
