Finally having cams installed
#12
I wanted a nice street cam that I could actually drive the car without issue. At this point the car is at its peek and I was concerned I would be way over the power rating on the stock internals. Car drives well and has a nice lopy idle to it so I am happy. Maybe when I do the block I will get a little more aggressive.

He has a vortech v2 Forced Induction, when you have boost you don't need that big cam
As you can see from the post cams can get expensive.
Like i have said before i would really like to do a cam swap but i'm thinking about stage one because i can do the work myself and from every thing I've read you don't need springs or special tune so i think i can do it for less than 1K
I just don't know if the difference between stock cams and stage one is enough. All the advertisements say it will add 25 to 35 HP "Its says it right on the internet" if you know what i mean.
