octane boosters are hit and miss, and over use of them can lead to fuel system problems, i wouldnt drive it till i fixed it correctly

But on a serious note, why come on here and call anyone who challenges you a toolbag and get all uppity? Its a forum, its about bringing ideas and knowledge to guys like the op. You didn't see me and jwog get into a pissing match.
Op, jwog is correct about the octan booster. Even race fuel may be out of the question the way the engine is running. The stock cams wont bleed off enough compression. I'm running a little over 11.5:1 compression with Comp 270's and they're about the limit on being able to run pump gas on that much compression. Just change out the pistons to the correct ones and assembly balancing. I hate to see a engine get ruined.
