Default Chirping/squealing noise 96 gt

I have this noise that is driving me nuts. I replaced my clutch cable after it broke a while back. When I did so; I found that my shift fork is broken on the bottom and that it can move from left to right a little. Is that normal? Of course it is supposed to go front and back but not left to right? Anyways, when I press the clutch in, the noise gets louder. The noise runs on the same tune as the engine. But when I let off the clutch and accelerate moderately maybe a little faster the noise almost goes completely away. Someone please help it's driving me crazy

I can do it in about 2 hrs if I really bust ***. But I have had so many manual transmissions out in my life I could do it blind folded.

2 hours for a well equipped pro, probably two days for me.
It gets to be a "might as well" proposition. If you're pulling the trans, might as well do the clutch and all related parts while you're in there.
