Coolant leak
Hello all,
I have a 00 manual GT. Mods done BBK 70mm throttle body, BBK cold air intake, Ford Racing 3:73 gears, cylinders and pistons + .020 over, forged internals, and BAMA street tune. 600 miles on engine since forging. Water pump and thermostat are new with 600 miles. New Coolant tank Reservoir & coolant tank cap from genuine Ford dealership has 25 miles. Car spitting out coolant from fill hole in Reservoir so I topped off thinking maybe it was just low but same result. so I buy a brand new cap &Reservoir from the Ford dealership same problem still persists. No leaking or over heating problem prior to forging bottom end. Car does NOT run hot now at all. Fan does kick on. However, if I step on gas for even 1/4 or 1/8 of a mile it spits coolant out of reservoir cap. If i drive normal basic acceleration no problem no problem no leak. I did this with old cap & tank and now the new ones too. Wtf???? Help!!

time to get a combustion gas tester, and test for a bad head gasket/warped head. its common on the 4.6l to push combustion gasses into the cooling system through a faulty head gasket while driving http://www.nationaltoolwarehouse.com...FQgoaQodUfgJCw

yes, incorrect bolt torque, faulty gaskets, warped block deck surface, failure to clean the deck surface correctly can all cause a head gasket failure. but another ? you arent overfilling the degas bottle are you? they dont get filled to the top. most head gasket failures dont spit coolant, they just caused an overheat due to an airlock caused by the combustion gasses
