Hadda spark plug blow out a few years ago and repaired it with a helicoil kit..(I know I know....NOW...) ;( anyway I changed the plugs today and noticed that the plug with the insert was taking longer to seat and tighten up...so...I pulled the plug, looked in the hole and I can see the insert has threaded thru and is in danger of going into the cylinder if I try to go in again....SO...im not sure exactly what to do but cuss.... any ideas about how to get this thing out?...

If it falls down in the bore is there any chance, maybe with a little luck he'd be able to extract it with a telescoping magnet? Those thread inserts are made of steel, right?

A little larger than the plug hole,so it can't be tugged by just a magnet through the hole.If it falls in,you almost lighted camera probe and spring loaded grabber to get it,possibly pulling on just an end so that it straightens out somewhat.Might help to have that cylinder's piston all the way up..

I thought about putting some threadlocker on the last 4 or so threads of a spark plug, letting it set up and try to back it out using pb blaster on the outer threads?...I prob need the "even GOD cant get it out" threadlocker for this tho...Thoughts?
