I posted this on Tuner Central and no replies for a week. So I'm trying to figure out the differences & which flash tuner be better for my '02 GT: BAMA, SCT, DiabloSport i2... The BAMA/SCT SF4 appear to be the exact same unit? Its close to stock now but want a flash tuner that can do most things, including turning off the Traction Control forever and for upgrades later. I want a tuner that does not stay plugged into vehicle. Thanks!

I had a flash tuner Diablo done for me, I decided to have a performance shop do it for me, pretty pleased with the results, I can post the dyno results later on tonight

bama is a company that utilizes the sct tuner system, sct is a great company and makes tuners that are widely supported. the sct handheld unit will allow you to change some settings, and will come with a canned tune good for a few hp (5-15) or so, and doesnt have to be kept attached to the vehicle.

Yeah I noticed the BAMA & SCT look identical. I think the only difference in the two are the BAMA has the custom tunes for life and the SCT has some generic tunes pre-loaded on unit (not that generic is bad), but other then that they look like you can change the tunes yourself too????
