Weird idling after throttle intake install

Weird idling after throttle intake install
So basically I installed the BBK throttle intake and after I did I noticed the idle would stick at about 1700 rpms and then drop down to about 1000 after a few seconds. This would happen when moving from any gear into neutral or when simply revving the car. Today I had started the car and unplugged the TPS to find no difference but when I had unplugged the IAC the idle was not sticking when I revved the car but instead just dropped down to about 1k and the car didn't stall, it just idled like this. Could this be an indication my IAC is bad? The 1k idle is most likely due to me messing with the throttle plate adjuster. But this has me stumped, please give feedback! Much appreciated!

sounds like you need to do a idle relearn
Disconnect the battery's negative terminal to reset/clear the computer's memory. Leave it disconnected for 30 minutes. or use your tuner to clear the keep alive memory
Disconnect the plug going to your idle motor which is located on the front of your throttle body.
Reconnect your battery's negative terminal.
Start the engine, and set the idle to the rpm you want with the stop screw on the bottom of the throttle body. (arrow)
Turn off the engine.
Reconnect the plug on the idle motor.
Make sure all accesories (radio, blower motor, a/c, lights, etc) are off and start the engine.
Let engine run for two minutes.
Turn engine off and wait two minutes then restart engine and let idle for two minutes with all accesories on.
If everything was done properly the EEC-IV (read: computer) should have learned it's new idle.
