ok i am trying to take the starter off my 97 gt and i cannot get to the top bolt anybody have any idea on how i can get to it??

LOL come on dude it's not that bad. Bleeding hands? I've done it twice so far and neither time have I damaged myself.</P>


Use a 3/8 drive ratchet with a couple of 3-inch extensions, or somewhere around there. Here's a tip. Take your socket and put it on the head of the bolt first, then just plug the extension into the socket with it already on the bolt. It's a lot easier to line it up that way. Takes a little time to loosen it because there's not much room to move, but it will come out.</P>
