Default Antenna Problems

Hey guys, I just got my order from mustangtuning.com today. I ordered a shorty antenna so I could put my car cover over it without removing the antenna every day. I'm having trouble installing it because none of the bults fit correctly. Either I am a complete moron, of some of you guys have had the same problem? Any tips at all will help please. And also, I orderd the mach1 grill delete and no instructions came, could anyone post their instructions possibly? Thanks fellas, Kyle

yes i lost a bunch of radio reception. but i never listen to the radio anyways....its all cd's for me. if you listen to a lot of radio i think i would recommend against the 8 inch, personally. but it looks pretty nice. of course anything will look better than the stock like...what....29? 39? inches or something.

I'll be a moron for sure. I bought the same kit on the 8" and couldnt get any to work. The one that was the closest I tried to nicely wrench down and snapped it off flush in the hole. Luckily I have used drills and extractors at work and got it out easily. I ended up getting the 14" anyhow and like it much better than the 8"-Shane

I have an 8" from Mustangtuning.com......it was tricky to find the right one....try using both sides of the "bits". I lost significant radio reception, but I don't care, CD's for me.
