finish building my 5.4 motor, pic
this is my rebuilt 5.4 that i finished putting together on friday night, i was up untill 1 am...
you can look at my cardomain from pages 11-12 have all the pic i took when i was rebuilding it.

i am waiting on a few things,i need a egr tube to go from the headders to the intake, a f150 throttle cable, vacume lines, a 4" cowl hood, and after its in a dyno tune. i think next month some time or maybe sooner. i think i am going to do a wright up of the install and any custon fab i had to do to get it in, i think that it will be just like a 4.6, only a little harder.

Can you run UDPs on it? I didn't know anyone made headers to fit the 5.4 in a Mustang. Man, the torque is going to be a monster. You'll give yourself whiplash. Are the internals forged? A S/C would be insane at 12-14 psi with that motor.

only the cranke it forged(factory)the rest of the internals are not forged, but neither are lightnings(they just have 8:1cr, regular 5.4s have 9:1) but when its all done and sitting in the stang, i am thinking of getting a used lightning blower i have seen them on ebay for less then $1000. then run a low boost pully maybe 6lbs or 8 lbs.

lol, after i get it put in i think i have to rebuild my trany, my syncro in 2nd is shot if i shift above 4000, but i if drive fine then its ok. i think my mustang is comming alon well for only being 17, 18 in december
