Hi Mark, Thank you for your email question and your interest in our
products. Our Long tube Mustang headers will work on both manual and
automatic cars but they will only work on hardtop models not convertibles.

then i wonder why ive got BBK LT headers on my CONVERTIBLE mustang gt? and i had no problems getting them in? lol....

there is also a member on here (duckygt) that has a silver 2001 mustang gt convertible automatic with BBK LT headers.. he had to bend some brackets or something to make them fit

Dilo is talking about SLP headers, not BBK. Different companies design their headers differently. BBK made sure their headers fit both coupes and verts. That's all there is to it.

thanks guys for the input........oh yeah i forgot to mention that i did call BBK a while back and they didnt even know if it would fit a vert!...go figure.....after that moment i was lost

i was just forwarding what a rep at SLP sent me. again they are different companies therefor different products but if you have the BBKs that work than that answers his question just for him to know the SLP's won't
