Default MAS ??

I have been asking this in a few different posts but I have yet to get an answer. I see some CAI's come with a new MAS and some do not. I have a mostly stock GT that I am going to put a densecharger on in a few weeks. There is one kit that comes with a new MAS and one that does not. I plan to upgrade to 75mm ( I know, worthless without forced induction. I plan to "force" my induction when I get the $$) so do I need the new MAS while I have no forced induction and, what is it really going to do to help me? I guess to make a short question long, what does the MAS do and how is the one they are selling better?

a larger mass air will work well with a lot of mods, i personally do not think you will need one unless you have already done the major bolt ons.

You don't need it. Don't buy it yet. Spend your money on something else, that you will actually notice.

Even with ALL the bolt ons, a new MAF or MAS is not needed unless you go FI.
