I have the JLT and am quite pleased with it. Just be careful with bends in front of the MAF, it can affect your A/F.

I have this intake, could definately feel the difference, but when on the dyno over the complete stock set up it gained 11RWTQ and lost 3RWHP.

I have the tuneable induction CAI, and really you don't NEED the Pro-M MAS, the stock one is more than enough unless your running Forced Induction. The company claims 8-12 rwhp, dyno proven. I tested mine and didn't see the same results, but my AF was running overly rich. I've read other posts where people have said that this CAI will mess with your AF. I like the intake, but make sure you do a before and after dyno on your car to see if your computer may need retuned. Also as for hanging the filter in the engine bay which i assume is what your talking about when you say you don't want a fender intake, Its been dyno proven that on 01-04 model year 2V and 4V you will actually lose about 2hp because the filter is exposed. All in all though I would recommend this intake over the others. I hope this made sense and helped a little.
