car alarm with flashing lights
The other night I saw a red car (Don't know what it was) with a wierd car alarm. When the car alarm was activated the signal or driving light were flashing like every 3 seconds. We all know that all the alarm have a blue or red LED in the dash right but this one was one of the front light. Does anybody know of what i'm talking about? If we you know of this alarm please let me know. hanks

This could have been a remote start, the lights flashing like that signal that the engine is running. So the car owner knows that he has started his car. Thats how my freinds accord is, most of the time its so quiet that u cant even tell its running

You can only have it installed on an automatic though. Unless you can find someone to put it in a five speed if u got one, its illegal to have it in a five speed

Yeah, my buddy tried to get a remote start put on his 5 speed Mustang, shop wouldnt touch it. I have heard many people say it is very hard to find a shop that would be willing to do it.
Also, I dont think it was a remote start. I have seen cars with these lights too. Its basically just like the LED that flashes on the dash. But, cars like the one you seen take it a step further and drill a hole and place an LED into the front light housing on each side. I'll bet thats what it was, like I said I have seen a lot of cars with this in Chicago. It would have looked different if it was the remote start and would have just been the side markers and not an actual LED light source. Most of the cars I see it on are import ricers, just calls attention to your car. I dont think they make a specific alarm that has this, you could just use any alarm and have an alarm shop wire the front light housing LED's as well.

On our mustangs u must have the clutch pushed in. If you leave it in gear and accidently try to start it then its ganna like sit there and lurch forward into another car possibly.
