follow the gas line and you'll run right into it

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but you will need a tool to remove it. My Haynes repair manual said nothing of it (I am not much of a car guy.. Just getting into it), and after 15 minutes of trying to do it by hand, i asked someone, and they told me about the tool. 5 bucks at an auto parts store.
