I'm just looking for some concepts for striping a Mach 1 hood (and the rest of the body, too). I'll probably be getting the Mach 1 shaker kit from CDC for the looks (I actually love it, there's a red 01 GT around here with it... looks so great) but I don't exactly want to give up my factory stripes if I do, but I don't have a choice so I want to re-stripe it if I do decide to get the shaker hood scoop.

Since my GT is black, the plastic piece will blend in with the paint. I know I could paint it to be white (I want white stripes) but I like the double stripe look more than a single one. You can see what I mean in the two stangs in the bottom right of this picture.

So I'm just wondering if anyone has seen some double stripe ideas for the Mach 1 hood style... Because of the curves and shape it seems like nothing works right. If you have pictures or can photoshop some stripes on, that would work great too. Thanks!

i dont think double stripes would look good with that hood, if you did the single stripe with a thin white pin stripe on either side (like the classic mach 1s) i think that would look pretty good.

You can buy a mach 1 hood and use that instead of that stupid metal cover for your gt hood. that looks too much like it was just stuck on there. Buy the mach 1 hood, it will look so clean.

Was hoping to have some striping for the roof and trunk too, I wanted a stripe that went all the way across the car, but this will do I suppose.
