should i replace my spark plugs?
i put in a new set of NGK coppers last april since then i have done all my modifications for a while i was runnign fairly rich but now i have it tuned right and it also has detonated a couple times because i have my timing advanced w/my predator so i pulled out a plug today and it is very dark redish brown the plug hasnt been broken or melted at all but it is very dark should i replace them all? or leave them in? if i do get a new set i plan to get iridiums

RE: should i replace my spark plugs?
i read that coppers are good be need replacing often and i know from experience that NGK iridiums are good. i had them on my honda and my set for my mustang should be here on monday : )
if you had detonation on that set i would replace them. it may not look damaged but will reduce the already short lifespan of them

By last April, do you mean April 04 or 05? If 04, then yes. Performance plugs on street-driven cars should be replaced once/year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
