Well on Thursday night, here in Michigan we saw a fair amount of snow, so I finally had to go buy my winter tires. I had planned on buying Bridgestone Blizaks, but Belle Tire had a sale on Dunlop M3 Winter tires, so I ended up going with the Dunlop's. The difference between the two tires is night and day. I feel like I am in total control while driving in any amount of snow at any speed. Driving him in the snow I get looks as I'm cruising by everyone. All together, I spend about 800 on all four tires, but these tires should last me atleast three winters. Also, the winter rims I bought look pretty good. I ended up buying the dual five spoke 96-98 GT rims for a steal of a price, 100 bucks. All together the 1,000 dollars I spent on winter tires and rims was well spent. If any of you guys have to drive your mustang in the winter, I highly reccomend these tires.

I live in FL so I just keep my winter tires on year round. Is it winter already?

Winter, down here in FL it just gets colder.
So I also get to keep my winter tires year round.

i picked up 2 new blizzaks for $100...i know what you mean by being in control... also... once these things get hot they get traction out the A$$!!!!1

i am soooo happy to hear you say that. I just had a tire shop order me some m3's. ($680 for the set). i cant wait!

Sound like a good deal man. I live in the Macomb/Shelby area in MI so I was hit by the snow too. What really sucks was my 4:10 was just installed Monday and have had no time to break it in. The weather is supposed to stay nasty too so I decieded to tuck her in for the winter today [:@] Yeah, it sucks. But I'll have a few goodies in store for her when she comes out for the spring

Me too man, thats what I'm planning on doing. I hope on buying a bunch of things this winter and installing them this spring. Do you guys suggest putting on 4:10's during the winter? Will it really affect my traction at all?

as long as you're easy on the gas when the road is slick you'll be fine. i made it through last winter with my 3.73s on crappy tires!
