Default Mass Air Meter?

I am running a Mac Cold Air Pipe. The air flow runs into a stock Air Meter, BBK 75mm TB and new C&L Plenum. The Exhausts consists of BBK shorty headers, Magna X with cats, Mac Catbacks with 3.5 tips. I have underdrive pullies and 3:73 gearsset up with a dynocomputer flash. I need opinions on whether I should scrap the Mac Cold Air Pipe for the C&L #10699AP True Flow Inlet Pipe and 85mm Mass Air meter? Would there be a RWHP difference with the switch? This modification cost $400. Money doesn't trouble me. But I don't want to waste it either. I want a true bang for my buck w/o going supercharger because then I would really kill myself! At this point, I've equiped my Black 02 Automatic Stang with every bolt on I can think of. Any insight out there in Stang land?

Default Mass Air Meter?

I have the same question, I have mac cai to stock TB. Experts on this forum have recommended changing the mass air meter- should I also go 80mm and can I keep the mac cai? Should I also add 70mm tb while at it? What about the stock plenu? Iam not all that familiar with these modular intakes. Do I need to change the injectors to 30 lb or more? Soon will be adding better headers- pro-chamber.

What year is your car. Cause i think if you have a 03 or later GT C&L will give you a 85mm For your car. If it pre 03 they got a 80mm for your car. Just truct them they know what you need. But hell yea trash that usless cold air intake. YOu'll get a nice hp gain from the C&L set-up.

The C&L Plenum with stock TB achieved a 3 hp gain on the dyno. However, when I added a BBK 75 mm TB, the gain jumped to 14 rwhp. Keep in mind that I am running a complete exhaust system. What good is a fast intake system w/o a fast exhaust system? Counterproductive and self defeating!

I have an 02 GT 4.6 with 7200 miles. If I scrap the Mac Cold Air and replace it with the C&L TrueFlow Inlet Pipe with 80mm Mass Air, will it offset my computer flash? Will it require reflashing?

Nope C&L calibrates it just for your computer and your injectors. And if you ever what to change your injectors, you can just get a new sample tube from them for like 25 bucks.
