Default Auto to 5-Speed

How much would i cost to change? My transmission is going to go soon.

IF you trans is on the way out, you have a few options that you could do that will be a lot cheeper that trying to get a 5 speed in there.

1) Have the current one rebuilt with a better stall convertor, shift kit or j-mod done, and install a trans cooler.
2) Shop around for a built auto trans with a higher stall convertor, and have that installed, and install a trans cooler.

If you are really stuck on wanting a 5 speed, put it up for sale before it gets any worse, and buy a 5 speed GT. I know that a couple of people on here have either done the swap or have looked into the costs and it did get pretty expensive. If it was me I would take option #2 and be done with it.
