Default RE: spark plug question

here's the specs on them

25 14mm, .460" reach, 5/8" hex, tapered seat, resistor, power tip, copper core, nickel plated shell

764 14mm, .708" reach, half thread, 5/8" hex, tapered seat, resistor, power tip, copper core, nickel plated shell

I wouldn't worry about the half thread vs full thread on the 25. That's the diff between OEM plugs and aftermarket or optional plugs. My concern is that .248" difference in reach. In other words, how far the plug reaches into the chamber. Not reaching in as far can lead to misfires or premature plug fowling. They'll work but they probably won't last long.

Oh and I was wrong about the resister vs non resistor

This site is a MUCH better link and does include tech specs, but still not alternate plug number useage [>:]
