Default Might be a dumb question

Do after market plugs and wires do anything for your car? If so, what? And which ones are reccomended? thank you for ur time

You can run NGK TR55's in the GT and it will run good. Thats what I used in my GT for the longest. You may not feel a gain, but you may see the ever so slightest of gains on the dyno.

i have a 96 gt with ngk iridium tr6's and ford racing 9mm wires. if there is a gain it doesnt register with the seat of the pants dyno but my car does start up quicker (used to take 2 or 3 tries, now just 1). the 9mm wires are bigger and have insulation to protect against electro interference from other electronic devices.

They seemed to help my RPMs go up a little quicker.I have the Sreamin Demon coil packs and Livewires with NGK plugs

coil packs is where youll get the most power out of your ignition system so thats why you saw a change compared to me
