the 96-97 GT is rated at 215 and the 98 is at 225, im hopefully getting some Steeda UD's for X-Mas which is good for about 10hp, so maybe that and a CAI and ill be good. Anyone know what Cat Backs add though?
U/D pullies won't give you much power......A CAI/TB/Plenum setup will give you some good gains.

Catback itself doesn't add a lot of power either, mostly sound, but a new midpipe too would give you some good gains. I would ask for an o/r midpipe for xmas rather than U/D pullies. Check ebay for stuff, you can find good parts for cheap.
Agreed, I say get the midpipe for Xmas and then a good CAI setup (TB and plenum included)

Well you could always go with a high flow catted midpipe, not much of a power loss between the two, but its more expensive. You will also pass emissions.

So you going with a CAI/TB/Plenum and U/D pullies?

Prolly the Steeda UD's and FIPK 2 for XMas and then ill get the TB and plenum before spring. How much of a gain would i excpect out of that?

Anyone ever heard of this brand? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-97...spagenameZWDVW

Seems very cheap compared to others on ebay.

Keep in mind SYSTEMS will add more than individual parts. For example: A mid pipe and CAI, and U/D pulleys will see less gains that a midpipe, headers and catback. This is because these pices might make 3hp a piece, but combined, they make 12, comprende?

So chose either intake or exhaust and start putting the pieces together!
