Default 3.8 to 4.6 swap question

I guess this is the best way to cheat the insurance companies.............doing an under the table swap and still paying the V6 rates, instead of easily selling and buying a real GT or Cobra ,am I right or not?.....<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

well its not exactly intended to cheat the insurance companies and i dont know if your saying it as a good thing or as a bad thing but this started as just a daily driver slow $$ 3.8 and we decided we needed some more power, started looking at gts and cobras and found a good deal on a motor so we went with it

the ecu is located in the passenger side kick panel, its a small metal box. the pcm is a smaller black metal box, connected to your water over flow tank. it will have several wires coming from one connection.

100th96cobra: i know for a fact it came with the ecu and i believe it has the pcm too, i will check tomorrow</P>
