Default lowering springs

I want to put lowering springs on my stang in the spring, but now is a good time to get em cause my parents are askin what i want for x-mas i was lookin at the ebiach pro kit but then i saw thae ebiach "sportline" that claims the max drop available with a 2" drop in the front and 1.8" in the rear. Is this too much of a drop? i have a chin spoiler in the front but i dont think 2" will put it on the ground, anyone have these? thanks for any responses, btw I have an 02' GT

I'm still trying to find the functional purpose of a 2" drop, besides looks. It's overkill.

But if looking good is what your worried about, while having issues with speed bumpbs, parking ramps, and driveways is ok then go for it.

You want something that looks decent and is actually form over function, check out a set of H&R springs with not as extreme of a drop.

I have a 2' drop on my car. It looks amazing.. Once you drop the car, thats when it acutally starts to look good. A lot of people tell me that my car is very low.. But its really not THAT low. I have good clearance for driving, bumps, divets, etc. However, driveways are a bitch, your going to have to get the angles down and know your cars limits as far as slope clearances. You are going to bottom it out at times, its unaviodable sometimes, but it catches the underside 99% of the time, so nothing to really worry about.

However, overall its definitely worth it. You will love the outcome. Its a PERFECT drop at 2'. However, I definitely wouldn't go any lower than that. The handling is amazing.. I can take corners at ridiculous speeds if I really want to.
