<FONT size=5>I just installed Off road x-pipes and flowmaster force II mufflers. I wanted to know if anyone else has the same set up because i constantly hear a rattling noise from the passenger side muffler when i down shift and slow down!? is this normal? I have flowtech off-road x-pipe, headers, but I think I have the older American Thunder version not the Force II's. When I idle down sometimes I get that hollow sound, but thats just cuz I have a free exhaust pretty much. It don't sound bad to me. <IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0">I get compliments all the time.

I have the off road pipe with the magnaflow exhaust, some times i hear rattles but put the car on the lift and see if your hangers are tight, it could just be vibrating on something

Probably the hangers or your exhaust tips...

when i put long tubes on my car, it started making that rattling sound only when i down shifted and rpms jumped, its normal, as ive heard many other stangs do it to.

Hangers or brackets dude......tigheten those ****'s.

It's gotta be the brackets. OR did you leave a screw driver in the end of the X-pipe when you hooked the mufflers up. LOL Just kidden.<IMG src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0">

mine rattled too my brackets were on backwards soon as i fixed them its gonne

check your o2 sensors mine were loose and made that noise and theni tighten them, also tighten the hangers or brakets</P>
