my stang is my d/d so when the snow was too bad i had to hitch rides with friends and family, which isnt so bad (im 17 so this used to be the norm lol before i bought the stang <3 lol) the only thing that really bothers me is how freaking dirty my car is now from the snow!!...WTF!!! stupid snow....overall my tires have been doing pretty well so far through mild snow and etc. (Pirelli m & s), i was impressed, but in over about one or two inches, it gets difficult to move around smoothly lol

so we all agree snow sucks lol I def. hate having to drive my stang in this weather even when the roads are somewhat clear theres salt and when the roads aren't clear I'm sliding around everywhere...I spent about $1,000 on these Michelin Pilot Sport A/s but i learned weight in the rear is still very much needed...

i drive mine all winter.. bet we dont get snow.. haha... what i would do is just drive another car instead of the stang cause these things suck in rain... imagine what they would do in snow? haha.

Cheap rims for the winter with narrower tires would be the least expensive and best option if you have to drive a Mustang on snow.

I decided to run with my original bullet wheels this winter and had to stay with a 245x45x17 tire as the wheel won't take anything narrower. I spent the bucks and put Blizzaks on and am pleased so far. $800 for "good" snow tires may be a lot less expensive than paying for repairs. They are great on packed snow and ice, just like advertised. I haven't been in any heavy snow yet but will hope that by adding a few hundred pounds in the trunk I will be able to at least get around. I'm in the flatlands of Colorado and most of the winter driving is on dry roads but we do get dumped on occasionally.

To all of you driving beautiful Mustangs in the snow... take it easy and remember spring (the time when your sole and the gas pedal can get reaquainted) is only 3 1/2 months away.

Stupid snow... I know how awful they handle in the snow. My stang had a hard time making it up the 5% grade into the garage... Had to get a small running start Definitely not taking it out on the roads with any snow or slush out there. I can't really suggest any tires because I haven't looked into a set for winter for obvious reasons, but just adding that I have seen how bad they are in the snow too.

Hands down, the only way to drive your stang in the winter is a good set of winter tires. I bought a pair of 98 GT rims so my chrome 03 rims wouldn't chip, and bought some Dunlp M3 Winter Tires. I spent around 800 bucks on them and couldn't be happier. I laught at my buddy in his 94 GT when he cant even get up his driveway. If you have to drive in the snow sometimes(like I do) the only way to drive your stang is with winter tires, plain and simple.

Snow blows. Mine's been done for 3 weeks now because of it. And it doesn't look like it's going to melt anytime soon. She'll see the light of day around march/april [:@]

A grand? Hell.

Give me $350 for my V6 wheels with Blizzaks (bought for my 02 GT, got my truck right after and didn't need'em).

any winter tires will make 1000000000000000000000% difference.

use all four though because stopping and turning are fairly cool things to be able to do.
