Mustang Gauges

RE: Mustang Gauges
Uh...offering my opinion, I would say you would be walking the line of rice while drunk and stumbly...if possible, try to get a dash set that looks stock (over the centre console) instead of a pillar cluster...but that's only my opinion.

Gauges are awesome, the more you know about your car, the better. . .

RE: Mustang Gauges
I've looked at these guages everyone is talking about but I have two problems w/ them...not only are they really expensive (like over $200) but I could never figure out how this guage could give you an accurate hp rating...
If they are accurate I don't know why more people don't have them and I would have to say they would be more than worth the $200 or so they sell for.
Also I'de say air/fuel ratio and oil pressure would be good guages to have since your n/a doesn't need a boost guage...

RE: Mustang Gauges
I have a G-Tech and HP kinda sucks but times are very accurate. That's all I care about. Time it before and after each mod. For HP what it does is use an equation that takes vehicle weight and acceleration and figures it out. You would get a much different number than a dynojet though because of wind resistance. I think I broke my G-Tech though cuz that damn thing uses a suction cup and connects to the windshield like a radar detector. Mine fell off a few times.
