haha... what a thread. I have a97 GT with a set of flowmasters on it. Definitely deep, but not too loud. Waiting for XMas money to buy a catted H pipe to free up some sound and HP.

I heard a newer stang with bassani exhaust and it did sound pretty badass.

This SLP combo I'm looking at is a catback. If I read it right you can use any muffler with it. If I read it wrong then someone correct me. My granddad has a 04 SVT Cobra with a full Bassani Exhaust on it. You can't hear yourself think inside the car when it's right around 2 grand. I love the flowmasters just want something loud to go with the deepness.

I sat in an 03 Cobra with only Bassani exhaust, I wasn't really that impressed, I thought my flowmasters sounded meaner.

How big a difference do the optional resonators make with the SLP loudmouth II? And I assume including them will still allow for a catted H and LTs?

my o/r H and Borla Stingers are pretty damn mean superman.

I knew going into the purchase that it would sound good, but its not like anything ive heard on the street before..

very very toned the whole way up the rpm range with medium to light throttle. very racecar like especially around 4K or so and quite loud

but at wot above 3K or so. it opens up, loses alot of its tone for sheer volume. sounds amazing echoing off trees and buildings off the side of the roads throughout the country

Sweet-thunders are really loud. Straight-through, just like the old-school glass packs.
