Default 05' tires & rims on a 96'

Does anyone know if 05' wheels and rims will fit on a 96' Mustang.
I have a chance to buy a set for a couple of hundred bucks. I still have to find out the size, 16" 0r 17"

I seen a 96 w/ the 16" 05 wheels the other week.... You sure they changed the pattern?

05 wheels dont even apparently fit 99-04 cuz all of the adds say just 05 and theyre like 20 bucks more. So i doubt it but hey if they dont fit buy em anyway and sell em for a profit on ebay.

Did you have to use an adapter? And how much off set is there? Does it set them inboard or out side of the fenders. Also what size were they, 16's or 17's? Have you got any pictures?

No adapter. Sets them inboard just barely. Not even noticeable.
Here's a pic
