has anyone ever done this? would a 4.6 tranny fit on a 5.0?

i dont think i know of anyone that went that route that wasnt doing a massive build and even then it was a 331 dss going into the 99\





and that never got finished due to katrina, why would you swap a 281 with a 302 anyway

it would be to much work. if you want the SN95 look then just buy a 94-95 they still have the 5.0s. but if you want a Neww Ede look then you would have to do it your self. the 4.6 uses a T-45 Trany and the 5.0 uses a T-5 trany so they are diffrent, The motor mounts, PMCs and other stuf are diffrent.

theres an article in an older MM&FF of a guy who swapped in a built 5.0 cause he said he kept blowing the 4.6's so i would start there

tranny doesnt fit, youd fail emmisions too cause it wouldnt have the obd2 setup, there would be a lot of rewiring. dont doit. get a 5.0 fox or a 94-95. or build your 4.6 up
