Default For a daily driver with gas in mind, which would you choose?

Ive got around 2K to play with right now and Im either going to buy a forged rotating assembly or a forged stroker kit -the guy at my speed shop was pushing the stroker with the claim that "it will only help me reach my goal faster". My ultimate goal is somewhere between 500 and 600 rwhp however, my car is a daily driver. will stroking my motor to a 5.0 affect my gas milleage? (im allready installing 4:10s) When I asked the guy if the stroker would effect gas mileage all he would say was "well your gonna have 550 rwhp so you wont have good mileage anyway." Oh, one last thing, either way, Ill be running about 10-12 lbs of boost.

For a daily driver with gas in mind, which would you choose?

if you want gas millage get turbos beasuse when you want to save fuel just turn down the boost.

oh ya it will cost more then $2000 to rebuild you motor. i resused my pistons rods and crank and i almost spent 2000 just on the motor, if not more.

No increase in horsepower is gonna help your gas mileage. You can buy one of those cool Daewoo Nubira's. They get good gas mileage. Or you can try to swap in a diesel engine.
