i just got a 98 gt and i put a b&m shifter in what should my next mods be? money also comes in small amounts so whats bang for buck?

gears, cai are ur cheapest mods. Might want to look into the PI head swap (a bit of cash there) and slowly building up you're exhaust (headers/midpipe/catback) get 3.73s if you do alot of hwy, 4.10s if you dont, but dont forget you'll need to get some d/rs to get decent traction with 4.10s :-p

yeah but with gears ur gas mileage drops alot, doesnt it?

not to sure, my mach has stock 3.55 gears, and i manage about 17 city/27 hwy ;-p

No it shouldnt, it will only drop with your driving habits, which will change for sure when you first get them installed. CAI and Pulleys are good starts both would run you abour 200bucks and the PI swap that was mentioned above would prolly cost about 2grand with install. Gears will cost prolly 150 and about 400total with the install.

just get the gears it seems like a big hp increase and as far a gas mileage it depends on how much u put the pedal to the floor
