Cams?

RE: Cams?
Agreed! Unsure of the total power gain but you'll be happy, trust me!

yea, you need 4 cams. it will cost around 1k for just the cams. then you may even need valve springs. its alot of money for a cam swap on a 4v motor.

RE: Cams?
A lot factors into that queston.
What type/stage cams are you looking at?
What mods do you currently have?
How many miles are on your current motor?
On the average, the 4v cam swap will give a little more than a 2v swap just because the 2 smaller, lighter, intake valves on the 4v cover more area than the 1 intake valve on the 2v. A stage 1 cam on a 2v will net approx. 20-30rwhp. So maybe a little more on a 4v with a stage 1, but since the 4v can rev higher, you will benefit from a stage 2 with valve springs. That could get you over 35rwhp(tuned).
