You'll pick up 60-80 horses with a PI head swap. It's the best bargain for power you'll get. The only other thing that will boost your HP that much is a blower which costs upwards of $3,000, and nitrous, which has it's own consequences if used carelessly. A PI head swap can be done for less than half that of a blower, and IMO it's a much better mod, because it's best to start from the bottom up when modding your car. High flowing heads will help out all future add-ons.</P>

Also depends if you were going up a hill or not...its really meant to be tested on flat ground. But the G tech is really accurate so do not doubt it either. I took mine to the track and got the exact same time just the miles per hour was off by 2

i have a veiricom computer its very accuarte but when you go to track you will always run faster ,more traction there.at just gives you a baseline.for tuning once you get it tuned right ,go to the track .that the way you find out ,some their is bound to be running faster so dont be upset<edited><editID>hotrodman</editID><editDate>38001.6425347222</editDate></edited>

my buddy had a 96 GT convert. his best was like a 15.2, he had a chip, K&amp;N, flowmasters and gutted cats. Also, the higher you are in altitude the slower you will run, because the air is thinner it makes for a richer condition, which in turn will slow you down some. </P>

Yeah, the 96-98 aren't that quick. That's prob pretty accurate. Do the head swap and some 4.10's. You'll come down!

For your car you can do a lot before swapping the heads. Looks like you need a bigger Mass air kit 80 mm, throttle body 75mm, plenum, headers, x or h pipe and 3:73 or 4:10 gears. You will also do better with some drag radials, good luck.
