How do I remove the air silencer from my intake?

Remove air silencer from intak
Removing the air sliencer is easy. lt's located in front of the air box and it goes down to the fenderwell. This can be done with a screwdriver and l don't think there are any cons to this. The pros are, you get better intake sound, a little bit of hp, better air flow and it's free.

The silencer chokes the car from breathing. l don't see why it should be there so l yanked mine out....

l don't think it's emmisions. lt's sound, airflow and lil bit of hp.

i heard some 1 say that id u take it out it leaves a gap which will suck in hot air from the engine if u are a daily driver. is this true?
