Couldnt wait any lo
Well, I was going to start the little mods this winter, intake/exhaust/gears/shifter, then later, later on maybe go for some serious power and get a s/c. But I couldn't wait. I ordered my Kenne Bell yesterday. Along with it I'm getting a boost gauge, chasis kit, rims and shifter. Tires will be 275 for front and 295 for the back. I know some don't like different size tires from front to back and I would have prefered to keep them the same but I don't really want the rubber to stick out past the fender. From my comparisons 275's come right to the edge in the front and 295's should come to the edge in the back. Rims will be the same 18x9.5. I'm told they will work with either size tire and the tires have a bead protector or something that can help avoid rim scrape. Any of this sound like crap? Looking for experiences out there... Is there anything else recommended - did I forget anything important for a good setup?</P>

too late, you already ordered it, right?..no , it sounds like a plan........the 295 are too big for my taste but I think they will look fine...remember that your entire stock internal engine needs to be modified--new heads, etc etc in order to be able to withstnad the boost..........good luck and happy moding

no2junkie, from everything I have been told the stock internals are fine up to 350-400 hp. I'm only going to run the standard 6psi or maybe 8 if kenne bell ok's it. What's your experience with parts breaking or wearing out prematurly?

why is everyone running to the power adders?? would you not rather have all motor?? SLEEPER!!I mean having a s/c or turbo would deff be cool, I think it would be easier to get yourself heads cams etc, maybe save a couple bucks, and still have the huge power gain you want. I'm trying to go all motor....
