Intake manifold
hey I decided I am going to get a zex kit for my car. I'm a little worried about the stock intake manifold however. I'll probaly be going with a 100shot. What is everyone else shooting theres at? Does anyone know of any OK intake manifolds that I can have installed so I dont have to worry about damageing the stock one? I dont need thebest set up out there.Any info would be great, I'm pretty excited</P>

if your that worried about your manifold and you want a different one then you'll need to get a Bullit manifold <edited><editID>Black Horse</editID><editDate>38005.9913425926</editDate></edited>

Your looking at a lot of cash to change your maniflod. Currently the only ones available are the Bullit and the p51 from Fox Lake, bullit with all the stuff you need is about $1000, fox lake is around $1400. Wait a few months if you can BBK is suppossed to be coming out withone for around $600. BTW if you do blow out your plastic intake they are onlyabout $300 to replace.

you would have to be a fool to pay 1k on a intake I would go with a NX system and a 75 shot theor adjustable kit has 35-150hp so there is alot of room to play...you could always pay about 250 to have the intake extrude honed

I'm not going cheap, if there was a cheap easy fix I would do so. I'm going with zex because from what I have heard they are one of the safest set ups, I know MM&FF has installed them on a few cars and have had nothing but good things to say about it, and I guess the $500 wet set(almost $700 from zex)up being so cheap isnt a bad thing.</P>
