Default Synthetic oil

Hello, </P>

I am the AMSOIL sponsor here. Some of you may have not visited the vendor are so here is my url:</P>

www.syntheticwarehouse.com</P>

Amsoil has a huge line of products. My favorite is the compressor oils. They really represent the company for what it's worth. If you have a compressor or a business that uses compressors try our oil and watch the decrease in AMP draw among other things..</P>

As for the 25,000 miles, I too did not understand or beleive it until I did my own analysis then became a dealer. Basically AMSOIL ATM, ASL and AMO (three main viscosities) to hold their viscosities for that peroid, keep a reasonable TBN, wear metal values, NOx, and oxidation limits will all be within viable levels. This goes for any engine in good running condition.</P>

By following the 25,000 mile change interval using AMSOIL you save money, get better mileage and your equipment will last years longer than you expect. We have a guy in Lincoln Ne with a Aerostar with over 800,000 miles. My motto is if the oil is not bad, why change it? The man in Lincoln uses the 0W30 (I use it too) for 35,000 mile intervals. It's the best product you can buy. But it does cost more.</P>

The regular 10, 5 and 10W40 generally is available for less than $5 per quart. The 0W30 I sell for $7. My #1 testimonial with the 0W30 is how quiet the engine becomes and the improved feel of acceleration. It will blow your mind! I get that most from Ford Explorer owners.</P>

I cant knock Royal Purple or Redline, but RP uses EP additives (Extreme Pressure) which is found in greases. This limits the life of the oil, but for racing who cares, it works. RP makes the oil for Harley Davidson now which is $2 more per quart than ours so it has becomemy best seller. Also you should consider the packaging when you select an oil. One popular synthetic uses a cheap bottle that leaks and a label that falls off. There are some good articles on quality control and this is not a good attribute.</P>

Do your own research. Also understand the consequences of hydrolytic stability with these other oils. If you like I can getyou a oil analysis kit and you can gauge if you are changing oil too soon. You can also see if there are any pre-existing conditions such as wear, water leaks or if your air filter is doing its job (silicone test)...</P>

Amsoil compared to the other two are apples to oranges. Totally different chemistrys. Amsoil has both PAO and Ester based synthetics. The whole point behind AMSOIL is performance and value.</P>

Well, It's time to watch Bobby Knight and Texas Tech VS. Oklahoma..</P><edited><editID>Roundabout</editID><editDate>38017.8810532407</editDate></edited>
