Your right, there really isn't any point, but what a rush, heart pounding, white knucled, it is insane, but for some reason, I had to see what it could do, the first time I tried it I got up to about 143, then a week or so later I was on the same road and decided to try again, buried the needle, that was enough for me, I couldn't even watch the speedo, my buddy had to tell me how fast we were going. If I ever do it again, only gonna be if I have my video camera with me, just so I can make a sick video of the mustang speed, what other car can you buy for the money that'll go 150+ mph??

I'd like to just floor mine till it just won't go anymore, just to see what it can do once. Then I would never do it again.
But until I do, I'm always going to wonder.

i get my cobra up to 158 and not even redlining 5th gear and thats just pretty much when im passing people..lol..id like to really open her up but cops are extremly bad around here..i already had to leave one in the dust in the good ol mystic 96

ehh im not too sure....but im almost 95% sure u cant get that car to climb that high. I have a 98 gt and iv been about 115-20 and it wasnt climbing much more.....if i had to guess mabee max 130? if even thats pushung it...not too too sure....but i dont thin 150.....

it's not worth it IMO. If you want raw speed like that go buy a BMW or something, something built for the autobahn. These mustangs are all about the acceleration and cruising, I love it but I don't think it's for that much speed.
Not to mention, what if you had to stop from 148 quickly? You're F'ed.

was to 135 on an uphill...and not the straightest or smoothest of roads...i fell into peer pressure to do it but ill never do that again...i get scared at about 120...thats really fregen fast and theres no need to go faster than that on any road.. not even a highway or desert strip
