Default Throttle body Install

I just purchased a Ford racing 70 MM TB thanks to redneck 101 and am awaiting delivery. My question is does the factory computer adjust to the new airflow right away? I heard it takes several start ups to adjust. Would it help to disconnect the battery terminal and "re-boot" the computer? I saw it is only 4 bolts and 2 attachments on the backside to put on what is the electrical hook up on the front side with 4 philips screws? Any advice would be cool.

....oh, one more thing. You should disconnect your battery eveytime you are instaling or de-installing components in a n engine anyways, to avoid a static spark.........

FYI, the wires and 4 screws that you were asking about is the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).
