in the chiltons it says its fuse #15 and its saying its a maxi fuse, i dont have a 20amp maxi fuse where its showing me its suppose to be.

you dont need to pull any fuses, its mostly a disclaimer to cover their asses. they also tell you to pull the fan fuse too, not necessary. in certain cars like the focus i think it was, the battery died during programming due to the drain. but with stangs the reflash is really fast and wont come anywhere near draining the battery.

its saying in the instructions that if i dont pull the fuse severe engine damage can occur, also during the programing it asks if your sure you removed the fuse.

again its just a disclaimer, i use the sct2 though but its the same idea. i couldnt figure out which one was for the fuel pump either, though. sorry man.

so you did it without pulling the fuse even though it said not to and it was fine?

it is the superchips max micro tuner, i called the company and they told me to disconnect the fuel pump by pulling the wiring harness from the fuel cutoff switch in the trunk. I did and installed the tune and i have to say its great you can really feel the difference right away when driving.
