These cars are prone to something many people call "One wheelitous" It's not an actual Posi rear end, Ford puts a limited slip differential in Mustangs. Mine will smoke the right tire in a right turn, but will smoke them both in a left turn. It's odd, yes. Your best bet if you're going to be racing a lot is to go with a new rear end entirely. Perhaps an Auburn or something like that. Look around, the local speed shops will know what you're talking about.</P>

well going to 3;73 will just make it worse..buy a posi rebuilt kit like 50.00..take 1 or 2 of the best of the old ones and put them in with the new clutch pak do not put them together..this will tighten up the unit..also use syth gear oil and a 4 oz of friction modifier...you will see a hugh difference in the rear..just remember the right rear has to plant first putting an airabag i the left rear spring will help load the suspension<edited><editID>vfast</editID><editDate>38021.7331134259</editDate></edited>

I have been pricing the gear change and ring and pinion is $125 the kit is $80 and labor is 5-6 hours so its not cheap. Beaver is prob like an hour or hour and half for you but worth it. I heard you go to Maple grove and get 3 passes in 6 hours.

That sounds pretty cool, I might just take you up on that! I will have my exhaust in by then.....now I'm thinking, should I do new headers and get it all done at once????</P>
