Does anyone have any suggestions on a book that covers alot of the "how to" projects that I want to do with my Stang? I am not a mechanic and I am not a master under the hood, but I would like to learn to do alot of my mods myself. Something that will show me the way, for a beginner.

No2, I do get those mags and you're absolutely right! Have you ever tried the new mag on the block, "Mustang Enthusiast"? It's pretty good too

Hey if you want the ultimate manual, go to http://www.helminc.com and order the shop manual for your year Mustang. It's $80 but it's the same book the repair shops use and it covers EVERYTHING (which the Chilton and Haynes manuals don't) from bumper to bumper. It even goes into detail about rebuilding your engine and transmission. Worth every penny IMO.

Is there a book that is for the novice? I'm just learing about cars. I read MM&FF and 5.0. I've learned a lot, but at times I get lost with some of the terms. I don't understand what the heads do exactly, or why certain heads are better than others. Or exactly what the exhaust system does. Or why a certain type of gears is better than others. I have a very basic understanding of these things. Is there a book that explains what each part is, and what it does?
