I dont think you will get better performance out of a certain brand of X pipe, though you might get higher quality. If you want one for a good price, VRS has one for 185 shipped. According to code, that is a very nice pipe. However if you plan on getting Lts sometime and you dont want to have to buy a new midpipe, you might consider going with a modular one like SLP or Bassani.

It is like he said above, you should choose based on quality.
They'll pretty much all sound similar
*except of course o/r and catted being different*
and to be honest with you, i dont think it will matter what brand you go with, you'll love the sound either way
