A new Mustang guy just moved into my area. <IMG src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0"></P>


I tried to follow him out today and see if he wanted to play... no dice. He'd rev back but that's it.<IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0"></P>


Iknow from the lights it's a 98 or 97 (unless he changed the lights). </P>


It sounded mean but the pipes were small and looked stock. I could hear the supercharger but no badging and it had saleen stuff all over it. </P>


What do you guys think... I will run him if I have any say in it. I was just curious what you guys thought. <IMG src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0"></P>

it should be a good race, but with only bolt ons, i'm sure you'll have trouble with him if he is supercharged.

Try to drive up and see if you can see an "E" next to the S281. If there is an E, that means it's supercharged and running 350+ hps...wouldn't mess around with that...</P>


If not, then he's running close to or around 300...with your mods, that would be one close race! Just try not to get caught though...some tickets for racing are now being considered 2nd degree misdemeaners......</P>


Also, I would guess (assuming you know how to shift) that you could run around a 13.5 at the track without drags...I'm guessing at least a second faster than a stock GT...I'm trying to get mine modded in your direction actually....</P><edited><editID>ricekiller2003</editID><editDate>38028.8314930556</editDate></edited>

I don't think they made the s281 E for those year modles did they?</P>


I'll look, didn't see the s-281 either, was assuming with the s/c whine and all the Saleen body work. I'll check it out tom. </P>


What did these years push time and power wise?</P>


Oh yeah, I'm not sure if he knows it's in's and outs b/c it has a temp tag still on it.</P>
