Is this something you can do to the car and not mess anything up? If so is 100 the highest you can go?

you can adjust it alot more then 100 but i didnt want to test it till i see some posts about it....its one of the parameters you can adjust, i believe stock was at 605 rpms i put mine up to 750 i believe and it seems to be running great and sounds alllllot better at the red lights...

I upped my idle. I didn't like how it almost cut off when I took it out of gear so I put it back down some. With my auto in gear it idled at 560. I upped it to 760, didn't like it so I pulled it back to 660. Much better for me. You just have to play with the settings and see what you like better.

I played around with the advanced timing, and It totally killed my engines performance. It bogs down and takes forever to rev up and I was using 91 octance.

Thats odd. I had nothing but good results from advancing the timing as far as i could with the predator. Never messed with any of the fuel trims though.

yea everyone says it works but my car is a POS. I dont know what the hell is wrong with it. I have a nearly dead battery but that shouldnt affect anything this drastic. Ive babied my car for 3 years and this is what I get. it think its time to treat it like crap. *rant over*

if you have a Wide band A/F gauge or someone you know does then i would leave it alone. try advancing timing on 91 gas untill you hear pinging then back it off untill its gone

I agree with Dark_Horse. Everyone I have talked to syas to advance the timing and leave the A/F alone. I origional posted this thread a couple days ago and have done a lot of research since. I went out and played with my car and definantly best results were achieved by leaving the A/F alone and advancing the timing. The link to the article I posted yesterday says the same. It worked for me, so any of you who mess with it bets of luck to ya.
