Thanks for the info on that. I am almost breaking 13s with a 14.01 with just two little boltons. Would like to do a lot of that to get in the 12s.

great write up for sure code

also for the automatic guys like myself... if you think the auto is holding you back i disagree... Just get a high stall torque convertor, tranny cooler, and shift kit and you will learn to love Auto... Plus you dont have to worry about shifting early or late or missing a gear it does it all for you

I have a 2000 mustang gt (automatic) with a chip and a steeda 4.6L timing adjuster. When i am going about 35mph my car will upshift when i take my foot off the gas and then when i give it gas it sputters and sounds like it is in to high of a gear which it is and then downshifts and is fine. would my timing adjuster or chip have anything to do with this.. what do you think?

The shift points and valve pressure for your tranny are both controlled by your computer. When you make power mods, you may need to adjust either or both. Get a dyno tune, with a tuner who REALLY knows how to tune the tranny.

I must say +1 for the post I am glad to see that someone out there has taken the time to elaberate on the making of a 12 car. I myself found one of those "do it yourselfers" when I was stationed at mayport naval base and he had a nissan "z" rice patti mobile he had slips that said his car tag number and all was running 13.24 in the quarter and my car isn't much the way that I had bought it but I figured that it was enough so I decided to test him....... well I won a case of beer so that turned out in favor of me, but it made me start to think about what all had been done to my car from the previous owner I know that it has a K&N and a bbk cold air kit, and its been lowered but I don't know by what company or what in the world parts... and yet it still leaves me in despair knowing that broke that poor young mans soul with, I guess you could call it a low boy bolt on car. I know that the win wasn't by much maybe a car length or so but I got a case of beer out of it not just any case multiple cases to make a 24 pack "damn" guniess manufactures need to make a 24... anyway back on the subject If there is anyone that might be able to give me some substantial feed back on this It would be most appreciated on here or pm me thanks guys and keep up the good work its people like you that make the difference when it comes to those with 4 cyl little man syndrome as we may call it that really make this a muscle car world that we continue to live in.
