If its going to be a secondary daily driver, then there is nothing wrong with a 99+ GT. They are a dependable fun car, & are FAR from pathetic. If I thought they were, I would have bought another Z28 or Vette

if its just a a daily driver.....get the GT....you should get slightly better MPG than a 4v.....plus, to my knowledge the Mach may have 4v heads but the bottom end wont hold up any more horsepower than the GT's block would....but at that point it doesnt matter anyway cuz 450ish to the rear wheels on a GT is the same as 450ish to the wheels on a mach

find a car with the body style you like, in the color you like, and in the trim you like....i happen to like 99+ body style more than a 98 and earlier, so i'd never get a 98 or earlier even if it was a cobra.....

plus I just got my new motor dropped in ......once i get it broken in and get boosted, i wont be worried about any Mach's or Cobras....

No, a stock GT's bottom end can handle about 350rwhp safely. The Mach's have like 280ish rwhp stock, so it can go higher. The 4v Mach just takes better to mods and has more power to start off with cause it's a 4v.

350??? where'd you get that number.....a stock GT block can safely push 450 to the rear wheels....theres plenty of people on here doing so.....

what I meant was, the 4V heads respond better to mods than a 2V's....but the blocks themselves have basically the same limits to how much power they can put down before you gotta start forging and beefing up the internals etc etc....

if youre going for a daily driver and wont be romping the **** outta it, I'd go with the GT. he said in his first post he wasnt worried about pushing big numbers....to which i interjected that even if you did want big numbers, at a certain point the limits of the stock blocks of both the Mach and GT are the same....although I think Mach's come with a forged crank, that doesnt account for everything else......

find a mach 1 if you can the 2 valves of the GT are pathetic
Your not happy with your car? With your kind of power you should be encouraging these guys a little. Have you been to the MPH site lately thay have a 4.6 2V with modified stock heads putting down 920 + hp with the K/B 2.8 that is defenitely cobra territory.

If i were you i would go with the mineral gray mustang with 70 on it. 91K is to high for that price. Now i might be biast because i have the same exact color leather and car, but that sounds like the best deal. The 4.6 is reliable. My 95 3.8 v6 has 162,000 on the clock and still runs like the day i bought it. I say go for it.

As long as its a v8 you can't go wrong lol. The Mach 1's are nice but for the price you pay for one of those or a cobra, you could put that money into a gt and have a monster of your own.

I agree with this guy. I still think the price is a little high, but...

Wish you had got on here like a month ago. I would have sold you mine...
